Max’s boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere featuring 1,500 square feet of restaurant space and can accommodate a large party reservation for up to 25 guests or a private buyout accommodating up to 100 guests reception-style!
Food here is awesome and delicious. The service is what really shines. I came out of pouring rain and DJ at the bar made me feel so warm and welcome. Served me amazing food, delicious beer and even charged my phone for me! This place is a gem in downtown ATL. Highly recommend.
Staying in Atlanta for only a week while I'm on business. Stumbled across this gem just a short walk from my hotel. Sunday night, place was nice and busy. Got one of the only open seats at the bar. Ordered a pizza and fell in love. Hand tossed, fresh, great dough, great flavor, real ingredients! Just perfect. Exactly what I wanted. I'd be a weekly customer if I lived close by. Service was awesome too!
I just stopped in for a snack. Had a half salad and the garlic knots. Both were good. Bartender was super nice. They had a nice selection of local drafts. Pizza dough is made there and rolled out fresh. I could see them doing it from the bar. Pizza Oven looked great. Hope to get back for dinner and have some pizza.
Oh my my my!! This pizza was the best! I had fresh spinach. A 12" gives 6 slices which is plenty for two to share. The doe was so good. When you find good pizza you know it. This was hot fresh from the coal oven. Perfectly delicious!
I loved this place. The pizza was so fresh. The salads were big but really good. I didn't try the meatballs but I kept staring at them because they looked so good. The waitstaff was friendly. Lots of kids. Overall, it is a great option.
