Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria is now open, serving its iconic pizzas, pasta, salads and more at Perimeter Mall. The new location – nicknamed Max’s Perimeter – is modeled after its successful Downtown store located on 300 Marietta Street and offers 200 person seating, private dining and full-service bar.
Max’s Perimeter has opened after a successful soft opening weekend with dozens of mall shoppers as the first official customers.
“Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria has officially opened its doors today, and we are very excited to be part of the Dunwoody community. In the last few days alone, we have received such a strong show of support it confirms that Perimeter Mall was the perfect choice for our second location. We hope everyone in the area can come visit us soon,” said General Manager Jason Stewart.
Max’s Perimeter offers some additional new menu add-ons and specialty dishes as well as its signature pizzas and entrees. Items include the “Caprino” with sausage, goat cheese, mozzarella, red onion and basil; “Tradizionale” with pepperoni, sausage, roasted red peppers and red onion; and the “Fontina & Funghi” with fontina, wild mushrooms, caramelized onions and fresh oregano. All pizzas will be baked in the signature coal-burning pizza oven made popular at its Downtown location. Max’s Perimeter’s coal-burning oven is a focal point of the new restaurant, visible to all patrons in the open kitchen.
The new Max’s Perimeter is located on the 2nd level entrance of Perimeter Mall, at 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Road NE, Unit 2090, Atlanta, Ga., 30346. The restaurant will soon be available for private dining, as well as on-site and off-site catering.
